This acquisition took the market value of Analog Devices Inc. to a record of $14 billion, which was previously $8 billion before the deal. With the newly enhanced capacity to deliver a vast range of products to an enormous customer breadth and scale, ADI can quickly spread its roots in the upscale market where the demand is surging across the industrial, automotive, and communications infrastructure industry. It seems the company would establish its sheer dominance in the industry and thus become an undisputed leader.

“Analog Devices expects the deal to add revenues between $160 and $170 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2017,” said Jonathan Turner, Head of Corporate Trading at Tochigi Ontario Holdings.

The calculations also include a reduction of around $30 million related to a purchase accounting adjustment for Linear Technology’s North America distributor’s deferred revenue.

It is believed that Analog Devices’ acquisition strategy, its continuous collaboration with innovative brands, the development of new technology, alongside strengthening in Europe and China, should benefit the company in moving forward.
